Located in the town of Joshua Tree, CA this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is
just 1 mile away from the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park.
Enjoy the 2000 +sq foot open floor plan, able to comfortably and
privately sleep six in three queen size beds. You may want to enjoy a
movie from several choices in our DVD collection or absorb yourself in
a good book from our small library. For some outdoor air, take a
horseback ride at the stables less than a mile from the house, or go
hiking, climbing or bouldering in the world class park (several of our
books allow for you to research the area). If work comes in to play, a
phone/fax machine is available as well as internet connection. Located
in the exclusive Monument Manor, The Rio house allows for privacy and
magnificent views of Joshua Tree’s surrounding mountains. The
yard is partially fenced (for your four legged friends) and has a
propane grill for your outdoor cooking. Lots of outdoor seating
encourages you to take in the stars at night and the peacefulness
around you.
The town of Joshua Tree offers five eateries to chose from, a health
food store, a farmers market (Saturdays), artisan galleries, a theatre,
the Joshua Tree Music Festival (twice a year), gift shops and outdoor
stores.. To relax, the natural hot springs are just 30 minutes away in
Desert Hot Springs. If you want a little more culture, try Palm Springs
where there is plenty of shopping and entertainment. Or view the
beautiful San Gorgonio mountain (the highest peak in S. California)
where you can take a tram ride to the top.
